Role Overview
As a WordPress Developer at Qobrix, you will manage both back-end and front-end development for our projects. You’ll write well-designed, efficient, and testable code, create website layouts and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS, and integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues to deploy content, provide internal support and customer service throughout the build and launch process, and ensure ongoing maintenance, scaling, and optimisation of sites.
Key Responsibilities
Development
Manage back-end and front-end WordPress development
Convert layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages
Integrate data from back-end services and databases
Maintenance & Support
Ensure ongoing maintenance, scaling, and optimisation
Provide internal support and external customer service
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends
Requirements
Proven experience with WordPress
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Ability to convert layouts and wireframes into functional pages
Proficiency in PHP back-end development and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Git, responsive design, SEO basics, and debugging tools
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
Nice to Have
Experience with relational databases and object-oriented programming
Network diagnostics knowledge
Exposure to SaaS or real estate projects
